Photographic Chronicles – Week 31 – Landscape Photography

We continue the recap of my photographic weeks with, this time, a selection of my best shots taken between July 28 and August 3.

Still in Germany during this period, after collecting my photos from an exhibition, I took the time to explore the surrounding area, a region with a strong agricultural character.

Between forests, mountains, countryside, and fields, I visited several villages and produced work that clearly fits within the realm of landscape photography. It’s an approach close to my heart and that resonates with my background as a geographer..

Territory portrait

The idea is to create an honest portrait of the territory crossed, without any artifice. It lies at the intersection of art and science, an approach that truly speaks to me. This is precisely what had impressed the Museums of Angers, as you can see here.
