If you’ve been following the Photo Chronicles, you’ll probably remember that I explored the banks of the Marne at the end of winter.
At that time, the river was in flood, the cold was biting, and the rain persistent. This time, I decided to return under a radiant sun and warm temperatures.
Returning to these places offered the pleasure of recognizing some trees I had photographed before, like the weeping willow stretching across the path. In other areas, however, nature having reclaimed its space made it difficult to find my way.
Overgrown with tall grasses and lush vegetation, the banks, covered with wildflowers, felt more like a landscape hundreds of kilometers from Paris than just half an hour from the city center.
