While the previous recap of the Photographic Chronicles focused on territorial photography, this one will be more about interior photography.
Just before my departure for Germany, a client had asked me to create a very specific image. I had therefore bought some flowers before leaving, which I let dry during my absence.
Upon my return, I found my peonies and dahlias completely dried out. To meet the collector’s request, I had to bring out some old cameras from my collection. I ended up juggling between a Rolleiflex and a 4x5 large format camera, for those familiar with them.
A bit of the outdoors
True to my habits, I naturally wandered the streets of Paris and brought back a few images to add to my annual output. Some of them enrich an as-yet-unseen series focused on the plates abandoned by customers on Parisian terraces… But hush, the time to reveal it will come later.
